Mercury astronaut Scott Carpenter takes his seat on stage in the training auditorium at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida for the "50 Years of Americans in Orbit" presentation for employees. Joining Carpenter for the event were fellow Mercury astronaut John Glenn, NASA Administrator Charles Bolden and Kennedy Space Center Director Bob Cabana.
