Metal wire filament incandescent light bulb

This 4000 watt Philips metal wire filament lamp was used in the Scheveningen lighthouse. This is one of the largest light bulbs to have been manufactured on a regular basis. The service life or burn time of this filament lamp is between five hundred and a thousand hours.
