Metropolitan

Metropolitan is a set of 14 photographs of presiding bishops – the supreme heads of their respective Churches in Kerala. The Bishops are photographed in front of their official residences, dressed in their vestments. All of them belong to Episcopal Churches: Churches with a presiding bishop who functions as the supreme head of the Church and is responsible for leadership in initiating, developing, and articulating policy and strategy, and speaking for the Church on issues of concern and interest. They are a mix of independent Churches and ones with affiliations to other global Christian denominations.
