Michelle Francl

A professor of chemistry at Bryn Mawr College as well as a writer, Francl has published in Nature, Professing and Parenting, and The Open Laboratory. Her research area is computational chemistry, particularly molecules with unusual structures. She was elected a Fellow of the American Chemical Society in 2009. Here she shares her earliest memories of fun and danger with chemistry play as part of the exhibition Science at Play.
