Several hundred miniature accessories of hina dolls were held by the Tachibana family. Almost all of these accessories were made by Nanasawa-ya, a fancy doll shop in Edo, now Tokyo. This doll shop was renowned for its skillful craftsmanship that faithfully reproduced miniatures of the original. Even the pieces of the Japanese chess are accurately replicated.
