This painted carving presents a cross section through the pit and buildings of Camphausen above ground and underground. The lower part of the wooden mine contains a miner during longwall mining who is aided by St. Barbara, the patron saint of miners. It was made by Alois Veit, a former Obersteiger who worked in the Luisenthal pit.
