This floral patterned mirror and tendrils, in ancient times were commonly carried inside someone's grave. In China, mirrors are a symbol of healing for those who have gone mad at the sight of demons or spirits. There are 2 mirror features found on the Cirebon Sinking Ship. Chinese made mirror decorated with floral motifs. Nusantara made mirror (made either in Java or Sumatra) is simple round shape. Both mirrors experienced corrosions around the edges and the middle.
