STS-127 Mission Specialists Tim Kopra (left) and Tom Marshburn are in the Space Station Processing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida to gain familiarization with hardware and equipment that will be used on the mission. Other crew members are Commander Mark Polansky, Pilot Doug Hurley and Mission Specialists Christopher Cassidy, Dave Wolf and Julie Payette. The mission payload includes the Japanese Experiment Module, or JEM, Extended Facility and the Inter-orbit Communication System Extended Facility, or ICS-EF. Equipment familiarization is part of a Crew Equipment Interface Test.
