The model is an exact copy of mosque, the religious and historical monument, built in the XIII century by Shirvanshah II Farruhzad, the son of Akhsitan. The inscriptions on the walls of the existing building, indicate that the architect of the mosque, built in the years 1281-1282, is Mahmoud ibn Saad. The famous French writer and traveler Alexandre Dumas in October 1858 during the trip to the Caucasus visited the Bibiheybat Mosque. In 2008, after the repair work Bibiheybat complex was put into operation.
