Dryden, who was the Deputy Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration from 1958 until his death in 1965. The Lunar Module was developed for the Apollo program, which landed astronauts on the moon six times from 1969 to 1972.Mrs. Dryden donated it to NASM in the 1970s.
