Model of a general purpose magnet for the ISR intersection regions

A model of a split-field magnet system. A simplified version of such a system had been chosen for installation in one of the interaction regions of the ISR. The split-field magnet is symmetric about its centre, the magnetic field being in opposite directions in each half. The actual ISR magnets were positioned to the right and left.
