There are 100 Chinese characters of longevity on the pot, each of which different from another although all in the seal script, conveying people’s longing for longevity, hence the name of the pot. This piece won the “Tian Gong Yi Yuan” Gold Award at the second Zhejiang Arts and Crafts Exposition in 2010.
