The J. Paul Getty Museum

The J. Paul Getty Museum
Los Angeles, United States

This rectangular block contains five molds, each depicting an identical figure of a standing armed female, perhaps Roma, who supports a shield (?) with her left hand and holds a helmet (?) in her right. The separate molds are connected in a tree-like manner by the channels cut into the block for pouring in the molten metal.
