Inspired by native Mongolian alpine flowers, these exemplar house designs were presented to the Mongolian government in 2013 as a possible solution to the dire housing problems in Ulaanbaatar.
While there, the architect learned to wrestle in the local style. (text: Kathy Waghorn, Future Islands catalogue, Trading Islands).
