From his earliest youth, Prodanović nurtures a romantic atmosphere, an intimate attitude towards composition and, more broadly, an authentic style with a chorus of colors, and primarily with gentle, gentle transitions of valerian. By going to work in Kosovo and Metohija, in Peć Art School, a whole world opens up in front of him, which was rarely an inspiration for artists. The world of the Kosovo population in undisguised harmony within religious and social contexts opens before Prodanović in full beauty, finds motives and, almost enthusiastically, creates one of the most beautiful opus of Serbian graphics of the 20th century. "Monk" is a very good example of linocut technique in graphics, which the artist mastered and brought a clean stroke, precision and calm atmosphere of the magnificent Serbian monastery from the XIII century (Dečani). The resolute attitude, the tense, dark atmosphere or the warning, suggestive eyes of an elderly monk, from this contemporary position, can be interpreted on several levels.
