Moreton Valence Airfield, Haresfield, Gloucestershire

Also known as Haresfield, Moreton Valence Airfield opened in 1939 as a satellite of Staverton Airfield. It was used by an Advanced Flying Unit of the Royal Air Force Flying Training Command and during the Second World War was used to test the Armstrong Whitworth Albermarle bomber. It closed in 1962.
