This twin-cylinder motorcycle racing was built in collaboration with Francesc Villa in order to compete in world speed tests. The first international race in which he participated was in Alicante in 1967, with JM Busquets as a pilot. When Busquets fought for the lead with Pasolini (wearing a Benelli 4-cylinder) bike stopped for a break of the side chain. That same year in Riccione (Italy) the pilot Walter Villa came second after leading much of the race. In 1969 the project was abandoned for a change of strategy. Montesa decided to give speed competitions and concentrate their efforts on mountain bikes.
