"Mouchoir d'Instruction Militaire No. 10," is tenth in a series of ten instructional handkerchiefs meant for distribution to French troops in the late 19th century. This handkerchief provides instructions on methods of crossing streams. Printed in red and black on an off-white ground. Selvedges present on two sides, hemmed top and bottom.
