Mourning Hat

This is an official hat worn by government officials during a period of national mourning. It is woven with bamboo strips and horsehair before being covered with hemp cloth. The inside of the hat was colored in white. The back of the two-tiered hat was higher than the front, and the shape of the wings attached on both sides varied depending on the era.
