Remains of Gothic mural painting uncovered after the dismantling of the Renaissance altarpiece in the Chapel of El Salvador. Notable elements include two large superimposed coats of arms on either side of the central Romanesque window, occupying part of the jamb and the start of the intrados, as well as the royal crowns placed above them and the three golden fleurs-de-lis on a black field—alluding to the King of France, patron of the chapel.
