Los Angeles, United States

This mold-blown mythological beaker is made of olive-green glass. The seam marks indicate that it was blown in a four-part mold. The slightly flaring body is decorated with mythological figures (possibly Fortuna and three athletes according to Weinberg in Journal of Glass Studies 14 (1972)) between columns. The flat base is impressed with concentric circles. The rim was cracked-off just above a slight overblow. This beaker was reassembled with sizable fills (now discolored).
