This sandook was documented at the ‘Heritage Home’ in the Lyallpur Khalsa College for Women. When a sandook was provided with a secret compartment, it would be built on the inside. This sandook had a unique secret compartment which was made near its base. It could be directly accessed from the outside by sliding the square panel, at the bottom corner, on the facade.
