Nabeen punishing Elokeshi

This is a contemporary patua watercolour from the Elokeshi murder case. This episode depicts the moment after Elokeshi's husband Nabeen finds out about the affair - he raises the fish knife to cut off her head, while she tries to defend herself with raised arms.
