This is a print of Narasimha killing Hiranyakashipu. Narasimha, the half-man, half-lion avatara of Vishnu is portrayed here with four arms and his face in profile. The demon Hiranyakashipu lies defeated on Narasimha's lap ,weapons still intact in his arms. With two arms, Narasimha rips open Hiranyakashipu's stomach and with the other two, he holds up the intestines like a garland.
