Nativity

This icon offers four scenes: Child Jesus is worshiped by the Three Kings in the presence of the Virgin and St. Joseph and the angels’ announcement of the Nativity to the shepherds, who are with their flock of sheep. In the lower third of the painting, the midwife is bathing the Child and at the top other angels are also announcing this event.
