Necklace (har)

The navaratna necklace (har) crafted from gold and set with the nine planetary gems each in the center of a flower surrounded with ruby petals. The nine flowers are interspersed with leaves and scrolling vines set with emeralds, rubies and diamonds and green enamel leaves. A two row gold chain at the back. The light open setting and claw setting manifest the European influence in jewellery manufacture of the period.
