A small pendant curved container from a shaped piece of coconut with a copper and bead handle. It is put around the neck of camels, goats, sheep and people to protect them from evil.When a camel (or any other animal) give birth, the hurhud is placed on the newly born animal to protect if from evil such as an evil eye. It was curved out with a kenher, biplap or worhon to make it smooth.The warriors make them for the cattle and husbands make them for their wives to wear and give them to children. The seeds are placed inside incense.
