This Arolac necktie press from 1930 reaches operating temperature in just one minute. The tie is slid back and forth over the blade and after some time is wrinkle-free. The device has a chrome blade in the shape of a tie, which contains a 140 watt heating element. The mains lead runs through the Bakelite handle.
