Exploring how human beings transform their surroundings and the world as they produce, and how they are transformed by the world in return, Ali Kazma has turned his camera to spaces of artistic production in recent years. Right after filming L’Atelier Sarkis, a reflection on the magical attraction and tension born out of the combination of different times, cultures and forms in play at the artist’s atelier, Ali Kazma produced a second video titled "Breath", focusing on "Respiro", which was envisioned by Sarkis at the same studio before being exhibited in the Pavilion of Turkey at the 56th Venice Biennale.
