This newscutting refers to an event that occured on Saturday 21st September 1912 when Suffragettes disrupted the opening ceremony of the Village Institute of Llanystumdwy, Wales by David Lloyd George. Llanystumdwy was the childhood home of Lloyd George. The protest resulted in violent and aggressive confrontation between the Suffragettes and an angry mob of locals who had gathered to witness the opening.
