The Quito school of sculpture does not follow a chronological sequence of the Gospel about the childhood of Christ. So, the reinterpretation of the episode described in the Gospel of Luke, in which Mary and Joseph found Him in the temple, sitting among the doctors of the law, after three days of searching. This is why it is called Doctorcito, little doctor.
