Noh mask Juroku(sixteen)

The mask portrays Taira-no-Atsumori, who died on the battlefield at the age of sixteen. The face, with an extended forehead, large-pupilled eyes, and sweet dimples, is charmingly naive. The mask is used not only for Atsumori but also other warriors who die young.
