Koomote is a mask of a pretty young girl expressing maiden innocence and pure beauty. It features slit eyes, a faint smile at the corners of its mouth and horizontal carvings on its eyebrows. The backside is finished with wipe-lacquer and bears an inscription ‘Koomote’ in vermilion ink.
