Washibana-akujo is an old fierce god with facial hair and an aquiline nose. The implanted metallic eyes emphasize the size of the large nose.
This mask is used for the Nochi-shite (a leading role in the latter half of Noh play) in “Nanba” and “Tohosaku”.
