Nom de Plume “Korin” Given to a Pupil

Tetto Giko of Daitokuji gave the pen name “Korin” to his pupil, Sosan Yuina. The two large characters of the name are written horizontally, while the characters on the left and right say “Made for Sosan Yuina by Tetto Giko”. This was listed among the items of famous tea ceremony master, Kobori Enshu and later passed on to the Konoike family.
