This note appears to be a note of authenticity for items once owned by E. P. Thompson and associated with Clara Barton. Ethelyn Pratt Thompson was probably the daughter of Dr. William Pratt. Dr. Pratt was Clara Barton physician at the time of her death. She had gifted Dr. Pratt with various items including CLBA 4458. These items including the notes were returned to Clara Barton National Historic Site through the family of Dr. Pratt.
