Nourse Family Sketchbook, Moth Mullein

The artist used different techniques to create this view of Verbascum blattaria, or Moth Mullein. The leaves on the truncated stalk at the lower right suggest that the artist inked the leaves of the plant and pressed them to the paper, a form of nature printing.
