Choreographer: Jaap Flier

For this ballet, 'Nouvelles Aventures', Jaap Flier was inspired by the eponymous composition of György Ligeti; a sound experiment in which electronic tones, vocals, and recorded sounds, such as the cracking of wood, and the tearing of paper, come together. These sounds are transformed by Flier into motion and can be regarded as a sequel to his earlier piece 'Aventures'.
