Octagonal loop antenna

Beautiful octagonal loop antenna. Sound and Vision has two copies with the same inventory number, one early example made by the NRI (before 1924), and this later example with the metal name plate on the front.
Technical information:
The window consists of 16 sections of 4 turns each. There is a branch-off between section 7 and 8. A winding is approximately 1.20 m long. The total wire length is about 75m. The window is intended for an area that roughly coincides with the middle and long wave.
