"Offering the gift to The King" displayed in the Fine Arts Museum is a rare artwork of interest that was kept at the Erdenezuu monastery, the earliest Buddhist complex monastery, presented the Abtai Sain Khaan. It has survived in a copy version and is kept and displayed at the Fine Arts Museum, which was copied by the ‘demon’ Dendev. This painting is drawn on paper, painted with color pencils and is of vital significance to define and clarify the garment styles and ethnography of 16-18th century as well as the level of development and characteristics of fine arts of that time.It has less influence on the iconography of Buddhism with apparent illustrations of garments, customs and traditions.
Unfortunately, the original wall painting at Erdenezuu did not survive until present.
