Old Lady Portrait

Was born in 1908, in Lisbon, and died in 2000. He was a disciple of Mário Augusto. He exhibited at the National Society of Fine Arts since 1930. He received the following awards: 1st medal for Painting at the National Society of Fine Arts; 2nd place of Silva Porto Award, from the National Secretariat of Information in 1945; Scholarship José Malhoa, in 1945; 1st medal for Drawing at the National Society of Fine Arts, in 1957. Naturalist painter of a sensitivity in texture and in light of people that live in his compositions. Strokes of movement.
