Sorel works in sculpture, printmaking, and watercolour, and also makes and publishes artists' books. She has had more than 20 solo shows in the UK, Canada, Israel, the USA and Germany, including a major retrospective at Bradfords Cartwright Hall in 2004. Her work explores the use of line in both print and sculpture and also examines notions of perspective using a variety of media. Agathe Sorel says of her practice, 'My work comprises several media, and I move frequently from one to another. Painting, sculpture, printmaking, livres d’artiste are the main areas, but on a practical level also includes photography and digital work. I always tried to disregard artificial barriers between these territories.'
