Bank note issued by the Bank of the Swedish Government 1852. Value: 150 National Debt Office Daler or 100 Daler Banco or 37 1/2 Silver Daler. All bank notes were given serial numbers and a letter as a safety precaution, in this case 57254 F. Initially the number was written by hand but through an ingenious machine developed by Ferdinand Tollin (1807-1860/65) and Immanuel Nobel (1801-1872) it could be done mechanically.
