Nairobi, Kenya

One legged drinking wooden cup, made from Marsian wood. The maker uses traditional axe to fill the tree after which it is left to dry in the sun for a week before it is chopped. Then a traditional curved knife and chisel like knife is used. Used by old men to drink beer with. Often carried by old men who are married. Young men who are bachelors do not use them for fear that girls may term them as drunkards and this will result to them missing a girl. The decoration on the cup is to identify the owners cup when it gets lost.
