In her large painting, 'Open landscape', Nina Sten-Knudsen breaks away from the pictorial space incorporating a central perspective that was developed during the Renaissance. By using many focal points instead of one, she achieves a new depth in her work and creates many eras and places. The central point of the picture is an old, Danish farmhouse.
