These water dropper, inkstone, and inkstone case are all made of soft stone. Upper part of the water dropper is decorated with the patterns of wave, while the lid of the inkstone case is embossed with the designs of wave and soaring birds. These relics are some of the burial items that were recovered from the grave where Princess Hwayu (the 10th daughter of King Yeongjo, 1740-1777) and her husband Hwang In-jeom (Unknown-1802) were buried together. More than 30 relics that the royal pair would have used in their lifetime, including stationery, accessories, and pottery, were discovered in their grave. Some items are considered to be ones that Hwang had brought back from China of Qing Dynasty, where he visited a number of times.
