Choreographer: Hans van Manen

With 'Opus Lemaître' Hans van Manen pays a tribute to Gérard Lemaître. In the first section a tense atmosphere is created between the group of dancers, which is moving rapidly, and Gérard Lemaître, who stands motionless without interacting with the group. As the music becomes more prominent, the focus shifts to Lemaître, performing a powerful solo. The music is repeated and performed twice; first in a version for orchestra and then in the original version for organ.
