A 3-octave portable miniature piano in horizontal harp form. Compass: c to c3, 37 notes. Viennese action (Prellzungenmechanik). The action of this instrument is a miniaturised version of the fully developed Prellzungenmechanik as found in the grand piano by Bertsche, RCM0490 and its action model, RCM0516, with some minor differences; to make the action more compact the escapement levers (Auslöser), dispense with the felt spring-holders and the springs act directly in grooves, and because of the graduated lengths of the keylevers, the beaks of the hammers and their leathers are cut obliquely.
