The book “Mataeologia haereticorum, sive Summa haereticarum fabularum” by the Austrian lawyer and historian Georg Eder (1523-1587) belonged to the Samogitian bishop Merkelis Giedraitis (c. 1536-1609)

The inscription of the Kražiai College. The book remained in Kražiai until 1844. At the time, when the Vilnius University Gymnasium, which replaced the Kražiai College, was being transferred to Kaunas, some of the unwanted books went to the seminary in Samogitia. In 1936, the latter was renamed Kaunas Metropolitan Seminary
