Figure of Our Lady of the Conception in ivory. Outfit consists of pleated tunic girt with fitting beaded neckline and cuffs; mantle caught under the shoulders and elbows with laminar overlapping folds. Long wavy hair with Rosea in the middle, revealing the ears, falling the front, back and shoulders into sections with separate treatment geometrized.
Slight inflection on his right knee in tunic.
Zoomorphic pedestal comprising base with acanthus leaves and elliptical; half-moon - crescent - underfoot and Dragon of Revelation with mermaid tail.
This is a vertical image, slender, frontal and symmetrical. All features of a piece of smooth implementation of Indo-Portuguese art from the end of the 17th century. Very similar to that offered by the Portuguese State to Pope Paul VI in 1969
